About Jason Hsiao

Jason Hsiao, President, Animoto

Jason is the Co-Founder & President of Animoto Productions (animoto.com), a web-based technology specializing in high-end automated video production. Prior to Animoto, Jason served as a television producer for MTV Networks. He's the creator and co-executive producer of Dirty Stinkin' Politics, a political series for Comedy Central developed with five-time Emmy winner Eddie Feldmann. Jason also produced Comedy Central's The Showbiz Show with David Spade. Jason has never been to Montreal before, and foolishly thinks that by coming in March he'll avoid the bitter cold.

About I Made This!

A quarterly event, IxDA Montreal invites people to talk about something they made. We're looking to hear the whole story, from concept to launch, and more importantly to hear about the lessons learned through the process.

The speaker isn't necessarily an IX or UX designer by trade, but is nevertheless a key and constant member of the team.

With an IX/UX audience, discussion during and after the presentation will certainly focus on design, but we're encouraging presenters to tell the whole story—in fact we're looking for opportunities to have designers and others engage in dialogue that hinges on a concrete creation of a product, service, or cultural artefact.
